The SandBox has a special appeal for folks who appreciate quirky, unconventional, arty and simple. The SandBox Inn offers the whole package -- a special place for the ceremony, a fabulous honeymoon condo and a gathering space that will accommodate as many as 60 guests.
Futhermore, a change in the weather is not a problem. We can essentially offer four locations for your ceremony, depending on weather and size requirements: Indoors (upstairs); the back yard (protected from excessive sunshine and north winds); the beach (half a block away, great at sunrise) and the bay (1.5 blocks away, great at sunset.)
This is what the SandBox can offer:
- a lovely setting- indoors or out - for an intimate service/gathering (60 or fewer)
- Sculpture garden with fire pit
- the pool table becomes a banquet table
- Sweeping staircases - inside and out - for dramatic entries
- Night-time music and celebration under the chandelier
- Customized sand sculpture - or sand and fire sculpture
- A network of talented musicians to create just the right mood
- An on-site licensed ceremonialist who listens -- and then helps create a personalized service (or bring your own)
- The Gulf of Mexico - just half a block away
- Beds and sleeper/sofas to accommodate as many as 10 people
- 1500 square feet of airconditioned space - plus two large party decks and -upon request - access to a spacious, shady back yard.
